Hey guys, why is my sound quality when exporting from Audacity seem to give me a more vivid and bassy tone than Ableton does? I'm a major newbie, so pardon the question. I don't want to start a debate either. I want to keep using Ableton. I know mixing/mastering is important too. But I'm not exporting these songs as final versions, I'm exporting them so I can listen to them throughout the day and improve on them. But it's hard when one seems better sounding than the other for that purpose. I'm using the same setup..synth>audio interface>audacity/ableton. Please at least listen and you can see what I'm talking about. They are really basic demo quality songs right now FYI. The first is Ableton and the second is Audacity. The sound levels are noticebly different, but even when i turn one down and the other up, it's still the same. Ableton just sounds thin to me.
