Debian Install Anydesk



In general AnyDesk should run on most Linux distributions, however only the following are officially supported:

Install AnyDesk on Debian 10 (Buster) AnyDesk installation on Debian 10 Linux is an easy process. All the dependency packages required are available on the OS repositories configured after the installation. Since we want to get the latest version of AnyDesk on Debian 10, we’ll also add AnyDesk upstream APT repository to our Debian machine. Finally, install the Anydesk on Debian system by executing following commands on your system. Sudo apt update sudo apt install anydesk The above commands will install Anydesk on your Ubuntu system including any dependencies. Step 2 – Setup Access for AnyDesk. Once finished the installation, launch AnyDesk on your Debian 10 system.

. Shrink: If your AnyDesk window has a higher resolution than the remotely controlled desk, the image is shown in its original size with a gray border. If the resolution is lower, the image size is reduced until it can be displayed entirely in the AnyDesk window - Try enabling Fullscreen mode. Install AnyDesk on Kali Linux The AnyDesk software package for Kali Linux can be found in the APT repository. Add the AnyDesk upstream APT repository to Kali Linux, and then install AnyDesk from the repository. Step 1: Update the Debian system.

If your Linux installation is not listed above, there is no guarantee that AnyDesk will work or work correctly, and we can't provide support for other distributions.
Also, changes with the Xorg server aren't supported, which can happen by the use of programs like xrdp etc.


A Graphical Interface is needed. More information on the installation dependencies can be found in our Installation article.

Important: Please keep in mind that Wayland sessions (selectable in your login screen) aren´t supported. Please make sure an Xorg session is running.

Remove License

Install Anydesk Debian 10 Buster

To remove your licence in the GNU/Linux version, open the menu in the upper right.
Go to 'About AnyDesk' and open 'Enter license key' and press 'OK'. Your license will then show 'free-1'.
